World’s Largest Sculpture Carved From Single Tree By 20 People In 3 Years

 

This sculpture of a roaring lion was carved from a single redwood tree trunk by 20 people over the span of three years. This sculpture is popularly known as ”Oriental Lion”.



Measuring in at 47.5 feet long, 16.5 feet high, and 13 feet wide, the giant lion is the world’s largest redwood sculpture according to Guinness World Records.

 

 


The sculpture is displayed just in the center of Fortune Plaza Times Square, the main square of Wuhan, capital of Hubei province in China.
