Cancun Underwater Museum – A series of sculptures by Jason deCaires Taylor placed underwater off the coast of Isla de Mujeres and Cancún, Mexico, offers a contemporary and cultural view of how the Mayan people have evolved through out the years in “The Silent Evolution”. This monumental installation consists of more than 400 life size figurative sculptures.
The purpose of this museum: to provide the visitors the opportunity to visit Mexico’s pristine natural reefs; and to promote Cancun as a cultural and artistic developing area.
